Central Computing Facility :

It is proposed to build centralized computer centre with latest hardware specifications, server and LAN / WAN facility to produce competent engineers having higher technical proficiency, professional skills appreciation of societal responsibility. It will be in a Centralized Air Conditioned area.  This center will be constantly upgraded with the state-of-the-art systems.

Central Library :

The proposed Integrated Campus will create centralized library. The area of the proposed library will be 500 Sq.m. to facilitate stacking and reading area, E-class room and computer facilities for digital library.  A well furnished and air-conditioned reading hall will be provided with the required books of reference in different subjects.

Central Workshop:

There will be a Central workshop with 900.Sq.m. area provided with infrastructure as required for curriculum and with qualitative improvement facilities for imparting the practical skills to the students.

Central Instrumentation Facility :

The Institute will provide central instrumentation facility with electronics, mechanical background to train students in accordance with curriculum requirement as stipulated by the university from time to time.

Hostel facility :

The College provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls.  Boys hostel is located in the college campus and girls hostel is arranged in guntur city. Strict discipline is followed in the hostels. The students are not allowed to use any electronic gadgets (i.e. cellphone, laptops, walkman etc.). The Hostel daily provides breakfast (with milk/coffee), lunch, Snacks (with milk/tea) and dinner. There are separate Hostel committees for boys’ hostel and girls’ hostel headed by conveners, which monitor the running of hostels.

College Canteen :

College has spacious canteen facility in the college premises and is run by college management. A variety of south indian food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the college at highly subsidized rates with highest quality.

Canteen has a big kitchen with steam cooking facility and kitchen staff take extra care to provide the students and staff with nutricious and hygenic food in the campus canteen. Food items are prepared with RO treated water.

Canteen is open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on all working days.

Stationary Stores :

All stationary items are made available in the stores at reasonable rates, fixed by the college management. It also provides light refreshment like packed snack items, cakes, veg. puff, beverages etc to the students and staff of the college.

Sports & games facilities :

The Physical Education Department of KHIT has been established in 2010. It took the responsibility not only to provide the necessary infrastructure that helps the students to inculcate good habit of playing games but also to develop the sportsmanship and comradeship. The college is provided with Indoor games also in an area of nearly 300 Sq.m,   which is furnished with Gymnasium and accommodating the indoor games like Table Tennis, Caroms, Chess etc., to horn the skills in the respective games as well as to enhance the physical fitness of the students and faculty.  Annual Intramural Tournaments in various games and sports are being  conducted for the students as well as for the staff . Routinely and the Prizes will be distributed on the Annual day celebrations.

Transport facility :

Our college is providing transport facility to our students only from Guntur to College and back covering all points in Guntur town. All the buses start from Guntur at 8.00 a.m. and back at 4.40 p.m.

Transport Committee :

There is a Transport Committee with staff and students with 50 members observing transport facility for students and maintaining discipline and anti-ragging in the buses. The Committee discusses the problems regarding transport facility and takes disciplinary action if necessary.

ID Information :

Every year, Every College bus user has to pay the bus fee within stipulated date and should collect college bus Identify card from Sri P. Appi Reddy, Convener, Transport Committee, by submitting original fee reciept along with latest passport size photo. They should carry the ID card all the time in the buses along with college ID.

Instructions to the bus user :

1. Cell phones are not allowed in the bus.
2. Do not use cell phones / i-pods / musical instruments etc. in the bus.
3. Discussions causing disturbance to the others is strictly prohibited in the bus.
4. Wear student identity card and carry bus pass at all times in the bus.
5. Ragging is strictly prohibited.
6. Users should board the bus in their respective Stop / Shift allotted to them only.
7. Disciplinary action will be taken on those violating the above rules.
8. In case of emergency contact – Convener, Transport Committee.
